Packers Beat Up The Bills 34-7 Start 2-0!

Some of the pre-game shows yesterday had some really funny stuff and here are the two that got us smiling before the big game, take a look if you missed any of them here. Manning Bros Remix. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_jNGruJDi4 and Tennessee Titans "Soft Knocks" http://espn.go.com/blog/sportscenter/post/_/id/81112/mayne-event-soft-knocks

The Packers kicked off its 54th season yesterday at Lambeau Field by hosting the Buffalo Bills, who were making their first visit to Green Bay since 2002. Yesterday was also the annual Alumni Game, which included the introduction of more than 75 Packers alumni during the halftime ceremony. Some of the alumni included LeRoy Butler, Paul Coffman, Lynn Dickey, Marv Fleming, Jerry Kramer, Chester Marcol and Bart Starr. There were 70,741 FANS in attendance for the game!

The game was lead by Clay Matthews who sacked QB Trent Edwards three times and the Green Bay Packers' defense dominated the Bills in a 34-7 victory at Lambeau Field on Sunday. That's six sacks in two games for Matthews, not bad for a guy who sat out most of training camp with a hamstring injury, huh? During the game "TheClayMaker" was being called a "FREAK, that he was NON-HUMAN, a BEAST and more importantly, already a PACKER FAN HERO! Some players and opponents are thinking CM3 is already starting to get into opposing quarterbacks' heads. Matthews stated that he hopes so. "That's what we strive for, especially as pass rushers: To get there and get him off his game by hitting him early and often." And he is hitting them often alright, as he is on a pace to have over 40 sacks this season. The NFL record is 22.5. Another special note is that Clay's father was in the stands to see his son, create the havoc that is becoming legendary!

Some of the highlights of the game were Rodgers throwing for 255 yards with touchdowns to Donald Driver and James Jones and running for another score. Aaron wasn't really happy with his attempt at a "Lambeau Leap" into the stands after his TD run. He said the guys gave him a hard time on the sideline, and he told them he was tired. It was a good effort in our eyes and that is all that matters, if your trying the Lambeau Leap, then you must of made it into the end zone!

So other cool points to touch on were: Brandon Jackson starting his first game in a couple of years and running for a TD. Donald Drivers doing his TD Wiggle, he is just the GREATEST! Rookie S Morgan Burnett getting his first NFL interception. Jermichael Finley finding all kinds of open space in racking up 103 yards receiving on just four catches, that is a whopping 25.8 yards per reception! Who is going to cover this animal, another Packers SUPER STAR in the making! Jordy Nelson giving the Packers great starting field position, the special teams have been just that so far this year, SPECIAL! Mason knocking a couple of field goals through the uprights is always a plus.

The only not so good: Charles Woodson being flagged with a pass-interference penalty that gave the Bills 24 yards. Which lead to their only score of the game. Hey, even NFL Defensive Players of the Year, have a mistake now and then. He tripped over the receiver and they both went to the ground, it is what it was.

We need to keep this train rollin, we are starting to gel and become one as a TEAM. This win improved the Packers to 2-0, the third time in four years under Head Coach Mike McCarthy that Green Bay has started off a season with two wins, with a matchup against the 2-0 Chicago Bears on Monday night at Soldier Field.
